Improve Mathematics Education for All Students |
The 2004 Math Symposium featured the new South Dakota Math Content Standards.
The South Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics again sponsored a Summer Symposium on August 6, 2004. The theme this year was “Finding the new Mathematics Standards in your curriculum” and included something for every level of mathematics teacher. Participants learned how to use this entire document to find the standards in their curriculum, adapt or correct the curriculum as needed, and create useable lesson plans and tests. Presenters included several members of the South Dakota Mathematics Standards writing team. All presenters were experienced and exceptional mathematics educators from around the state. The date for the 2004 SDCTM Summer Symposium was Friday, August 6. The site was O’Gorman High School in Sioux Falls. Information (pdf) Registration Form (pdf)Questions?
