South Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics: Working to Improve Mathematics Education for All Students

12th annual South Central South Dakota Science & Engineering Fair 

The annual event was held on the Dakota Wesleyan University campus on March 23, 2004 with 257 projects and nearly 457 area students from 17 counties and 33 schools competing in various categories. 

The winner of the South Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics Award was a project titled "Shelterbelts and Cattle Production" by a Winner High School student. The student was also chosen as a student observer to attend the ISEF in Portland, OR.

East Central South Dakota Science and Engineering Fair

A South Shore junior has received the SDCTM Mathematics Award for his project titled ""Studying the Mpemba Effect on Water and Hydrogen Peroxide". The annual event was held in Brookings, SD.
